What Is Huddle?

Huddle is a Business Intelligence Platform that connects to clinical applications, practice management systems, and bespoke databases, which in turn analyses hundreds of complex data fields for a healthcare organisation in easy-to-understand dashboards and interactive business tools.

What Is DeepWater?

DeepWater is a pre-built, fully managed data lake that allows healthcare organisations to store data from different sources in one centralised location.

With DeepWater, clients can bypass the data lake development and management component in their project and focus on development and project implementation instantly.

Clients can then use the data stored in DeepWater to develop their custom applications, analytics, or run research projects without impacting the original data sources.

Who Is Huddle For?

Huddle has been built for healthcare organisations looking to transform their business using data and technology. Healthcare staff members who spend hours per week generating reports can now use Huddle to generate the same metrics and more in just a few clicks.

Who Is DeepWater For?

DeepWater is built for corporate healthcare organisations that need the implementation of data transformation projects. DeepWater includes the data lake module, data extraction component, and data engineering component.

Who Owns the Data Inside Huddle & DeepWater?

Per our terms and conditions, the client has complete ownership of the data stored in our infrastructure. All data is deleted within 30 days after the client has provided notice of account termination.

Where Is the Data Located?

All data and backups are stored in australian based data centres managed by AWS (Amazon Web Services)

How Is The Data Extracted & What Is The Data Extraction Frequency?

Huddle extracts selected data from the practice management software (i.e Best Practice or Medical Director) or custom data sources (i.e. CRM/bespoke clinical applications) and stores it on tier-one AWS infrastructure.

The extracted data is converted to. JSON flat files, which is then encrypted and uploaded to the cloud infrastructure.

Upload Process: To facilitate the secure transfer of data from your Practice management systems, we use an Australian-developed local agent which you install within the Practice.

The agent and Huddle’s cloud in Australia through encrypted API. This process ensures that the healthcare organisation does not need to arrange for specific firewall rules or VPNs.

Can Huddle Support Multi-Site Healthcare Organisations?

The client can run analytics at a staff level, practice level or organisation level (multi-site).

Enterprise licensing allows clients to benchmark their clinics/sites and run reports for each staff or clinic separately.
